W. Bro. John Alfred Bird PPAGDC 9th January 1933   -   29th June 2007 It is with great sadness that we record the death of W. Bro. John Bird, Past Provincial Assistant Grand Director of Ceremonies. John died on the 29th June 2007  at the age of 74 following a brave and inspiring battle against Motor Neurone Disease.  He stayed at home, cared for and assisted by his wife Nora until the very end, only being admitted to hospital the evening before his passing following breathing difficulties.
