L of I Supper 26th November 2003

Another happy meeting of the LOI boys and their partners, this time being joined by our prospective candidate and his wife.

We chatted at the bar before sitting down to our Xmas menu (which also included steak, fish or vegetarian as alternatives.)

The evening passed all too quickly with the food, wine and conversation all being very liberal - if there was a fault it was that there was not really enough space for us all to sit comfortably but as we have been to the George & Dragon for at least 15 years it may be time for a change of venue.

We also heard from Pat Farley at the supper that her Father Charles Mee is keeping chirpy as usual.

Len Haydon mentioned that it looks as though Boscombe is off for June but he is perhaps looking at late October, early November instead for the Ladies Night so please keep this in mind as I am sure you will want to support Mark and Sam on their day.
